Finish Room Hazard Waste Technician
JOB DESCRIPTION – HAZARDOUS WASTE TECHNICIAN
SUMMARY:
Assures the proper handling, storing and preparation of hazardous waste for disposal.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for receiving and properly storing all finishing waste material and maintaining daily waste inventory. Assures all wastes are properly stored and labeled for disposal, disburses appropriate waste storage receptacles to work stations. Updates facility Hazardous Waste Inventory as required. Responsible for safe and proper handling, storage and use of finishing and production wastes. Cleans all booths and removes filters for proper disposal.
Other duties may be assigned.
Employees should understand that job rotations within and between departments is an essential function of all positions. It is expected that rotated or transferred employees maintain production and quality standards on all assigned positions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have sufficient education, training and experience to assure accurate inventory, proper handing and safe disposal of finishing material waste.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
RANGE OF MOTION:
Requirement includes a variety of movement, reaching and bending on a continuous basis.
