This is a full-time position with working hours of Monday –Friday 9:00 am -5:00 pm to include weekends, holidays and overtime as required with benefits after successful completion of a 60-day introductory period. This is a promotional opportunity and is an internal/external recruitment.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the overall direction of the Director of Merchandising, provide administrative support to the merchandising and buying department for the Graceland Retail Stores, ShopGraceland (Ecommerce store), The Guest House at Graceland retail store and other merchandising projects and events.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Prepare and print weekly forecasting reports for all areas.
- Prepare supplies for each purchase order and ship them to vendors.
- Maintain items in merchandising and ecommerce system as directed.
- Manage ecommerce returns as per return policy.
- Assist with answering and resolving customer service correspondence from third party call center.
- Maintain loyalty customer database in ecommerce system.
- Maintain sales and inventory tracking spreadsheets as directed.
- Maintain, organize, and file all item, purchase order, receiving, and vendor files.
- Reconcile and code shipping partner’s invoices.
- Code invoices in invoicing system.
- Support merchandising and distribution teams with additional responsibilities as needed/required.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office—Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access. Adobe Photoshop experience a plus; excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, internally and externally; detail oriented, self-starter, highly motivated with a proven ability to multitask and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to meet deadlines independently and collaboratively, retail experience a plus. Knowledge of general office equipment and procedures; must have excellent typing, filing, and computer skills; ability to perceive and deal with sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality; ability to deal successfully with a wide range of people; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMNTS: Ability to speak clearly and distinctly; stoop, reach, and sit for long periods of time; ability to lift boxes weighing up to 25lbs.
