This is a full-time position located in the IT Department with onsite working hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 am until 5:00 pm to include weekends, and holidays as required with benefits after a successful completion of a sixty (60) day introductory period. This is a promotional opportunity and is an internal/external recruitment. Please note: This is not a remote position.

 

SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Global IT Director, provide technical expertise for Graceland’s computers, printers, and other computer related peripherals. The Systems Analyst must also bridge the gap between user-based systems and the networked servers, interconnectivity, and monitoring systems through the guidance of the network engineers.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

  • Provides onsite systems technical support to resolve issues related to passive and active system hardware, IP address problems, network connection problems, and network-centered configuration issues.
  • Installs, configures, upgrades and maintains end-users computers, printers and other stand alone or networked devices.
  • Maintain network security integrity through creation (and removal) of Domain, Email, and shared access accounts.
  • Monitor, log and respond to Help Desk Voice & email ques, and resolve issues and documenting solutions in the service request and change management tracking system based upon department policies and procedures.
  • Develops and maintains automated processes and scripts to keep end-users computers at the latest operating system updates anti-virus & anti-spyware definitions and application revision levels.
  • Maintains accurate serial number inventories on network computer equipment.
  • Evaluates software and hardware for research and development purposes.
  • Participate with various server and infrastructure upgrades and configuration changes, including hardware operating system, and email administration, monitoring and problem resolution.
  • Drafts and maintains all documentation and drawings for area of responsibility,
  • Participates in an on-call primary and secondary schedule and responds to calls based upon department policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a 50+ user/multi server environment
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail required, including incident tracking, change management and project management.
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.
  • Be able to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Good analytical and problem- solving skills.
  • Dependable and flexible when necessary
  • Strong guest service and results orientation

 

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stoop, reach, walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time; use hands to handle objects, tools or controls, climb ladders, and move fixtures; good, clear speaking voice essential to communication both in person and on the telephone; ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
