Salesforce Adminstrator
Ecore is growing and expanding our IT to support the business. This new Applications Specialist – Salesforce role is part of the IT team, working collaboratively with all functional departments to solve business needs and provide solutions to run, grow, and transform the business. You will create and maintain highly optimized solutions that adhere to company and security standards. You will address the health and maintenance of all types of applications as well as the integration points between those applications. The Applications Specialist – Salesforce Administrator models Ecore’s core values including Safety as the overwhelming priority, Excellence, Compassion, Innovation, Trust, and Empowerment.
Location: 100% remote
Salary Range: $61,000 - $76,000, based on experienced

- Collaborate and execute on IT solutions to business problems and value-added initiatives on the Project Portfolio driving innovation for the company
- Collaborate and test designed solutions with go-to-market business partners to ensure successful implementation
- Collaborate and execute functional and technical application roadmaps with associated topologies, business capabilities, and benefits
- Collaborate and execute on go-to-market projects that engage technical and business resources
- Responsible for the full cycle development and integration of internal web applications
- Responsible for various third-party applications that run the business
- Execute Integration services across the enterprise
- Implement solutions using multiple data sources and integration points
- Develop in Salesforce platform
- Maintain the company’s Salesforce platform and its related integrations
- Provide ease of use for users of the Salesforce platform
- Remain current on the Salesforce platform related to new tools, bolt-ons, updates, and new capabilities
- Adhere to security protocols in all areas of IT in compliance with industry-standard frameworks; execute and adhere to Digital Safety and Security plans, including digital privacy compliance
- Tier 1 and 2 escalation point on all application-related issues
- Collaborate with all vendors and contractors performing Application services work
- Document and sustain application best practices
- Document and track Incidents and Requests thoroughly; prioritize and respond to all requests in a timely and service-oriented manner
- Solve Incidents in a timely and service-oriented manner; determine root cause of incidents and offer preventative solutions; escalate to next level IT for support after root cause analysis complete or if skill set prevents resolution
- Execute appropriate and timely actions based on monitoring alerts
- Engage in the prioritization and resource planning of IT initiatives
- Develop and conduct various training sessions
- Support and execute Application services in alignment with ITIL/Service Management
- Model, train, and support the ITIL and Service Management discipline within IT organization
- Adherence to budgeting and forecasting process for both operating and capital budgets
- Provide technical leadership to IT team
- Execute on Merger & Acquisition strategies
- Support IT Supplier Management Office policies and practices
Essential Experiences:
- Entry level experience in programming using C#, Java, PowerShell
- Entry level experience with relational databases, experience in MS SQL Server preferred
- Experience in HTML, CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, CSOM preferred
- Entry level experience with Restful API
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC
- Code Repository diligence (storage and change control)
- Strong detailed documentation skills
- Attention to detail and documentation rigor
- Familiarity with MS 365
- Familiarity with MS Azure
- Experience with the Angular framework preferred
- Visual Studio experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/related field, or equivalent years of experience required
- 3+ years of applications experience demonstrating technical and design expertise
- Experience with applications development lifecycle with excellent design/problem-solving skills required
- Salesforce Administrator certifications (ie Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Business Analyst)
- Demonstrated ability to understand company vision and strategy, IT strategy, and support and facilitate change
- Familiarity of software laws and restrictions including federal copyright laws as they pertain to the use of computer software
- Familiarity with process improvement principles
- Ability to assess processes and design, digitize, and/or automate them
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Demonstrates ability to meet commitments, including delivering quality solutions at/or below cost
- Familiaritywith ITIL/Service Management
- Builds relationships with business partners and communicates in a manner understandable to audience and with customer service orientation
- Detail oriented, but ability to see the “big picture”
