Summary:

As an Aircraft Mechanic II, you are responsible for maintenance of C-12 aircraft including servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting aircraft to ensure airworthiness.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, including repairs, modifies aircraft structures, structural components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty.
  • Accomplishes inspections including, but not limited to preflight, thru-flight, basic post-flight, operational, and phase inspections.
  • Troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform necessary corrective actions.
  • Operates and maintains ground support equipment and performs all tasks associated with ground movement of aircraft.
  • Follows all safety procedures and practices established by the Company and regulatory bodies.
  • Washes, waxes, cleans, and maintains the exterior and interior of aircraft.
  • Serves as a point of contact with the Quality Assurance Representative and greets visitors.
  • Advises management of problems that may delay scheduled delivery of aircraft to customers.
  • Annotates maintenance actions in aircraft records/forms and completes associated Management Information System entries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Performs other duties related to the occupational field as assigned to include TDY and travel.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years aircraft maintenance experience; including 1 year maintaining King Air/1900 Airliner series aircraft.
  • FAA A&P certificate.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain the clearance.
  • Ability to work the day shift, swing shift, night shift, and/or weekend shift as required.
  • Ability to obtain clearance to assigned location including medical clearance and visa.
  • The ability to read, interpret, and comprehend schematic diagrams, drawings, charts, and technical publications is required.
  • Sitting, standing, kneeling, crawling, and occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Must be able to obtain a flight line driver’s license.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak clearly and concisely in English.
