Location: OCONUS
Job Description: The Field Technical Representative role exists to support the Global 6000 by performing comprehensive aircraft maintenance services to ensure a safe and reliable operation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on assigned aircraft and ground support equipment
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair aircraft systems
- Read and understand maintenance manuals and understand the requirements
- Communicate with the Base Maintenance Manager on any aircraft issues
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment and report any unsafe conditions
- Properly complete required paperwork to comply with Federal Regulations and applicable company policies
- Maintain responsibility for proper execution of parts tag instructions in accordance with the Repair Station
- Other duties as required
Skills/Qualifications:
- FAA A&P Certificate required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance
- Valid US Passport
- Minimum of 2-3 years of Bombardier Global 6000 experience required
- Ability to travel away from home location
- Good teamwork, communication, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Highly resourceful
- Able to work under austere conditions
- Ability to work in tight spaces, work at elevated heights, lift balance and carry 50 lbs.
