Location: Panama, Honduras, or Nicaragua
Job Purpose:
This King Air 90 Captain role exists to provide single-pilot expertise to our Sterile Insect Technique base to meet company requirements and customer needs.
Duties:
- Pilot the King Air 90 as a single pilot Captain in a safe and professional manner
- Be familiar with destination, alternate airports, actual and forecasted meteorological conditions, fuel and oil requirements, navigation and radio aids, and applicable NOTAMs
- Ensure completion of pre- and post-flight inspection of the aircraft before and after each mission
- Fly accurately in relation to mission criteria
- Communicate effectively with base manager, customer, and system operations center.
- Complete daily, weekly or monthly digital reports (maintenance records, timesheets, etc.) in an accurate and timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
- FAA Commercial / Instrument / Multi-Engine license
- A minimum of 1200 hours total flight time (multi-engine turboprop preferred)
- Ability to qualify single pilot and work in a multi-crew environment
- FAA A&P maintenance certificate (preferred)
- Possess at least a 2nd class medical
- Relocation to Panama, Honduras, or Nicaragua
- Ability to work as a team member
- Fluency in Spanish (preferred)
Job Experience: Prior cross-cultural and foreign language experience preferred.
