Ramp Safety Officer

We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Ramp Safety Officer to join our New York team!

Responsibilities:

• Support the coordination of transportation activities between main production site, logistics unit and airport and ensure on time delivery of high-quality products, goods and services.
• Plan, forecast, schedule, and communicate transportation activities.
• Ensure smooth and efficient operations, supply chain management.
• Train employees on ramp safety SOPs as well as motivate the team members and supervise them.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a related field.
• Excellent planning and coordination skills.
• Ability to meet requirements necessary to obtain a PANYNJ ID (Port Authority NY/NJ) per TSA regulations and, more specifically, 49 CFR §1542.209. 
• Team leader qualities and outstanding communication skills.
• Dedication to customer service and attention to detail.
• Solution seeker personality and effective decision maker.
• NYS Drivers license
• Hands-on mentality.
• Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays)
