Job Overview:
As a Sales Account Manager focused on Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales, account management, and a keen understanding of the market. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, developing effective sales strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries for business development.
- Generate leads through various channels, including networking events, cold calling, and online research.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
- Understand client needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns.
- Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business development goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create customized solutions for clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Sales Presentations and Negotiations:
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Work closely with the legal team to finalize contracts and agreements.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/qualifications:

- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of proven experience in sales and business development, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Experience in managing key accounts and developing successful client relationships.
- Proven ability to independently create, analyze, and present comprehensive business plans for new opportunities.
- Evaluate potential risks and opportunities associated with new business ventures and provide strategic recommendations.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
- Ability to effectively communicate business plans to senior management, highlighting key considerations and potential impacts on the organization.
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.

- Industry Specific Knowledge:
- Experience in a contract manufacturing environment is a significant plus.
