Assistant Principal – Junior High & High School Catholic of Pointe Coupee | New Roads, LA

Catholic of Pointe Coupee is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Principal for our Junior High and High School. This individual will work closely with the Principal and teachers to foster a positive learning environment while upholding the values and traditions of the Catholic faith. The Assistant Principal will oversee student discipline, assist with data management, communicate effectively with parents, and support faculty and staff in ensuring student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Principal to oversee school operations and student achievement.
• Manage student discipline, ensuring a respectful and accountable school culture.
• Support teachers in instructional strategies and curriculum development.
• Maintain and utilize school data systems for academic tracking and reporting.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, discipline, and school initiatives.
• Promote and uphold Catholic values and traditions within the school community.
• Assist with school events, extracurricular activities, and faculty professional development.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Experience in school leadership, student discipline, and academic data management preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in data management systems and technology in education.
• Practicing Catholic preferred (not required), with a commitment to faith-based education.
