Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary:

St. Vincent de Paul is seeking a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to support our retail operations and mission of the organization.  The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, assist in planning and direction for the logistics of the thrift store operations. This position will assist in the management of receiving, warehousing, and distributing of goods to retail thrift stores or recycling facilities. This position reports to the Store Manager and Director of Stores.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing daily store operations
• Train and supervise store staff
• Maintain inventory levels and order products as needed
• Ensure store cleanliness and organization
• Provide exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

• Previous retail management experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of inventory management
• Professional Appearance 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexible schedule, including weekends
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Passion for helping others and supporting the mission of St. Vincent de Paul
• Regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of retail management experience
• Knowledge of inventory control and merchandising/equivalent experience may be substituted
