Opportunity:

 

The Sr. IT Data Analyst, Salesforce Data Cloud will provide Data-driven insights to DeVry’s management. This position will research data sources from DeVry applications and third parties. They will assess data volume, structure, quality, integrity, completeness in preparation for data preparation, ingestion, and transformation. They will participate in data governance and document meta data and lineage using guidance from application and data owners. They will review requirements helping them to build and enhance data models that satisfy DeVry’s information needs. They will perform ongoing data analysis, and as needed may create data dashboards helping to convey the state of data. The individual will work collaboratively with Data Architects, Data Engineers, SQL developers, and data integration specialists to provide data management-related technical assistance and recommendations.


Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce Data Cloud (SFDC):
    • Leverage SFDC to unify and manage customer data from multiple source systems
    • Create customer segments, predictive models and real-time insights using SFDC tools
  • Data Analysis:
    • Extract, analyze customer and interpret Salesforce data and other data to provide actionable insights and predictions to management
    • Work with Solution Architects for actionable recommendations to optimize business outcomes
    • Ability to tell “data stories” demonstrating the ability to articulate business value
    • Business knowledge and IT business analysis skills to translate business requirements into data needs
  • Collaboration:
    • Partner with functional teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements
  • Problem Solving:
    • Ability to identify, analyze and interpret patterns in complex data sets
  • Data Governance and Compliance:
    • Establish and follow data governance best practices across the organization
    • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with data privacy regulations

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a data analyst, Salesforce analyst or similar role with 7+ overall work experience.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or similar consumer data platform.
  • Hands-on experience with data governance and data modeling
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools SQL and Python required.
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerBI and other BI tools.
  • Experience with Agent Force or any other ML/AI platforms is a plus.
  • Agile software development with focus on requirements gathering.
  • Strong understanding of CRM strategies, marketing analytics and customer lifecycle management.
  • Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant is a plus.
  • Business knowledge and IT business analysis skills to translate business requirements into data needs
  • Must be motivated and be able to contribute in fast paced environment while maintaining quality of performance.
