Opportunity:
We are looking for a dynamic Manager, Marketing – SEO Analytics and Optimization to research, develop, and implement effective search engine optimization efforts to drive organic traffic and improve our online presence.
As you work to enhance our website's online visibility, you will apply in-depth research practices to identify opportunities to increase search engine rankings and drive organic search traffic. You will perform in-depth keyword research to target relevant terms and phrases that align with user search intent. With a keen eye for optimization, you will continually analyze our website's content, structure, and SEO performance to identify and ensure identified keywords drive organic traffic and improve search engine ranking while maintaining alignment with business objectives.
From your deep analytical efforts, you will develop and execute effective search engine optimization plans, ensuring that our website ranks high in search results and attracts quality traffic. You will continually monitor website traffic and rankings to track the effectiveness of our efforts and identify opportunities. This effort will include managing on-page and off-page SEO activities, optimizing keywords and phrases, link building, identifying technical SEO issues, and proposing solutions, as well as analyzing and reporting results data.
You will work collaboratively with marketing, IT, and other stakeholders, ultimately leveraging data-driven insights, cutting-edge SEO tools, and crisp project management capabilities to contribute to our company's growth and success.

Responsibilities:
- Ideate and identify relevant seed keywords based on business offerings and target audience.
- Utilize advanced, dedicated keyword research tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.) to discover high-volume, low-competition keywords.
- Interpret complex data from keyword research tools to make informed decisions.
- Analyze search intent to identify the right keywords for different user queries and identify long-tail keywords with high conversion potential.
- Identify underperforming keywords and build plans to optimize for improvement accordingly.
- Conduct SEO audits, competitive analysis, and benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement and stay ahead of competitors in search rankings.
- Track and analyze website traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates to assess the effectiveness of SEO strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
- Monitor and report on competitor keyword strategies, identifying opportunities and gaps.
- Analyze competitor content to understand ranking factors and keyword usage.
- Performance track and regularly monitor website traffic and keyword rankings using analytics tools.
SEO Optimization
- Developing and executing comprehensive search engine optimization strategies to achieve business objectives.
- SEO-first website strategy to increase organic traffic, improve search rankings, and deliver high-quality visits to the website by aligning with the Marketing Content team in the implementation of Google’s EEAT / Helpful content guidance.
- Developing a comprehensive keyword strategy aligned with overall business goals.
- Develop and execute effective on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website visibility and SERP rankings.
- Create prioritized keyword lists based on our offering, relevance, search volume, and competition.
- Allocate keywords to relevant website pages and content pillars and set realistic ranking goals for targeted keywords, monitor and report regularly on successes.
- Work with the content teams to incorporate chosen keywords into website titles, meta descriptions, headings, and body content.
- Optimize the website structure to improve keyword relevance.
- Conducting A/B testing on different keyword variations to maximize results.
- Executing link-building activities to ensure quality links from reputable sources.
- Identify technical SEO issues and collaborate with the web development team to implement solutions for improved website performance and user experience.
- Stay abreast of emerging SEO trends and technologies, exploring innovative approaches to optimize our SEO efforts further.
- You will monitor and report algorithm changes and emerging keyword research techniques, keeping the organization abreast of short-term changes and long-term cumulative direction and identifying implications to address before they become issues.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with content creators and digital marketing teams to develop and optimize high-quality, keyword-rich content for improved organic visibility.
- Work closely with the marketing content team to ensure keywords are seamlessly integrated into content.
- Communicate keyword strategy and performance updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Effectively communicating keyword insights to cross-functional teams.
- Partner with marketing content teams to ensure the website SEO strategy is effectively applied to all content efforts to drive search visibility, provide helpful content, include high-intent keywords, and ensure user engagement.
- Support and manage contracted external agencies specializing in SEO, link building, web analytics, and accessibility.
Qualifications:

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, computer science, business, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience as an SEO manager, analyst, or a similar SEO-focused role.
- Recent and relevant SEO certifications from respected providers.
- Highly proficient in advanced SEO tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner, and Google Analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and digital marketing trends.
- Knowledge of and hands-on experience in optimizing technical SEO.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website optimization platforms.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, formal and informal.
- Collaborative management capabilities and experience working with external agencies.
- Self-starter who is comfortable interpreting data, naturally curious, and can anticipate, and is prepared to address, upcoming questions and articulate a sound point of view.
- Detail-oriented, strong project management skills to handle multiple SEO initiatives, reporting, and responsiveness, simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Higher education experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of website design, development, HTML/CSS coding, Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and link-building strategies.
- Familiarity with social media marketing and its impact on SEO.
- Experience with SEO testing processes and experimentation.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
