2010 - 27329  Project Manager 

 

Global medical device manufacturer, DeRoyal, is actively searching for an experienced Project Manager to assist the President and CEO.  The Project Manager for the CEO is a strategic and tactical role designed to support the CEO in planning, organizing, and executing key projects that drive the organization's objectives. This individual acts as the CEO's right hand in managing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, and delivering results within deadlines.

 

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities with discretion and attention to detail. They must have strong communication skills, the ability to work cross-functionally, and a knack for problem-solving.

 

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

 

  1. Project Management
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute projects assigned by the CEO, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to objectives.
    • Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables while monitoring progress and mitigating risks.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.
  2. Strategic Support
    • Assist the CEO in setting priorities, tracking key initiatives, and aligning resources.
    • Conduct research and prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and analysis to inform decision-making.
    • Act as a thought partner, contributing ideas and feedback on strategic initiatives.
  3. Communication and Coordination
    • Serve as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
    • Ensure clear communication of priorities and decisions across teams.
    • Draft correspondence, emails, and other documentation on behalf of the CEO.
  4. Meeting and Event Management
    • Plan and manage meetings, including agendas, presentations, and follow-ups.
    • Coordinate events and speaking engagements, ensuring the CEO’s schedule is optimized.
    • Prepare briefing materials and summaries for key meetings.
  5. Administrative Oversight
    • Monitor and manage the CEO’s project-related budget and resources.
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.
    • Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
    • Makes and coordinates all travel arrangements for CEO – both domestic and international.
    • Coordinates internal and external company meetings with other administrative professionals.
    • Maintains and updates daily schedule of the CEO.  Communicates any schedule changes and/or updates to the appropriate individuals.

 

Qualification Requirements:

 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Project Management, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus).
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in project management, executive support, or a similar role.
    • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
    • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and results.
    • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest, commissions proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Critical thinking and analytical skills are required in project work.
