Come join our sales team! Global medical device manufacturer, DeRoyal, is actively searching for an experienced sales professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing the IDN and health systems accounts by focusing on the S2S Global portfolio in the Western US region. Med-Surg Specialists are accountable for developing and executing individual sales plans while collaborating with Medical Group sales representatives and Regional Sales Directors to achieve sales targets.
Some Key Responsibilities Include:
- Establish, maintain, and grow customer relationships that result in sales growth opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Build creative sales strategies and targeting plans for collaboration with Medical Group Reps/RSDs, resulting in new closed business.
- Call upon multiple markets and call points to sell DeRoyal products.
- Cultivate and share opportunities during the sales cycle, including presentations, follow-up, closing, and implementation.
- Manage and progress multiple opportunities/projects at varying stages simultaneously.
- Prioritize opportunities/projects and work productively without close supervision.
- Acquire a sound understanding and become an expert on all products and programs in which this position is responsible for promoting, as well as supporting all sales efforts in these categories. Continue to engage with Medical Group to promote collaborative sales efforts and provide transparent communication throughout their territories to ensure efforts aren’t duplicated.
- Assist Prestige Ameritech with forecasting and product feedback from accounts. Provide end-user examples for improvement and review. Maintain updated communication on the all-product developments.
- Possess a clear understanding of GPO contracts and details. Identify IDN/Collaborative Groups in the territory to target, collaborate, and manage. Negotiate pricing and agreement terms with customers and the legal department.
- Internally communicate innovative ideas, products, and programs that can add value to DeRoyal’s portfolio. Participate in overall product strategy, R&D requirements, and forecasting. Understand competitors and competing strategies.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to call on prospective customers, build a robust pipeline, and solicit conversions. Other forms of contact include phone, email, and virtual meetings. Up to 50% travel required. Must be able to effectively manage and prioritize the territory by working both remotely and on-site in accounts within territory.
- Develop Annual and Semi-Annual Business Plans to ensure a strategic plan is outlined to achieve sales goals.
Education and Experience Requirements Include:
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) required and minimum five years business to business sales experience; or three years working in DeRoyal’s salesforce; or MBA.
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to use several computer software programs. Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Continuum Reports, Salesforce.com and virtual platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams and OfficeSuite HD.
