DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise, coach, and train program personnel
  • Coordinate and manage referrals and intake process for Behavioral Health Residential apartments
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements of DBHDD, HQS, HUD, and other bodies
  • Demonstrate data-driven decision capabilities in daily operations and long-term planning
  • Role model excellent customer service with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide daily programmatic supervision to staff and clinical services (such as assessment, crisis intervention, case management, and psychosocial rehabilitation) to clients
  • Facilitate weekly team meetings, attend monthly treatment meetings, and conduct monthly staff supervision
  • Ensure high quality service delivery and documentation by self and staff completed in accordance with agency policy
  • Conduct monthly documentation reviews to ensure adherence to agency documentation guidelines
  • Develop potential leaders to support leadership succession
  • Enhance staff development by facilitating weekly team meetings, providing monthly supervision and conducting on-going education/training
  • Monitor program budget to ensure compliance, as presented from the director
  • Additional duties as assigned by director

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Office & community setting Monday-Friday 8:15am-5:00pm; however, some evening, weekend, and on call hours will be required
  • Travel throughout DeKalb County is required
  • Ability to use a computer, telephone, fax, copy and scanning machine
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background (fingerprint) check, have valid Georgia driver’s license and motor vehicle record, complete/pass agency-sponsored defensive driving course, as well as all other agency-required training

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field. Associate license or eligibility to receive associate license (within 12 months of hire) Full license, preferred
  • Experience providing case management/community support service or similar, preferred
  • Demonstration of leadership/management experience or increased duties in current/previous employment, preferred
  • Proficient with technology, electronic health records, and the following computer applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, lead as a positive team player, enjoy working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and foster relationships with various stakeholders
