JOB SUMMARY:

Manages the day-to-day operations of the DeKalb Addiction Clinic, including Intensive and Non-Intensive treatment services.  Serves as the clinical lead for the programs and provides supervision for clinical staff. Provides assessments, individual, group and family counseling and other treatment modalities within an evidence-based framework with adults who have a primary substance use disorder and may have a co-occurring mental health disorder. Actively contributes to the treatment center and organization through on-going collaborative efforts.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations

  • Monitors program budget to ensure compliance as presented by the Clinical Director
  • Manages program personnel with appropriate collaboration with the Clinical Director, as needed
  • Demonstrates data driven decision capabilities in daily operations and long-term planning
  • Oversees and ensures compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Role models excellent customer service to both internal and external clients
  • Ensures environmental safety and therapeutic milieu for staff and clients
  • Provides programmatic supervision, including on-site daily supervision of program(s)

 

Clinical

  • Provides program leadership to promote best practices and provides the highest level of service to clients
  • Assures appropriate clinical programming under supervision
  • Provides direct clinical services
  • Provides high quality documentation and adherence to agency guidelines
  • Maintains ethical standards
  • Enhances development of staff by providing clinical supervision and on-going education
  • Supports clinical leadership to promote best practices
  • Seeks clinical supervision from Clinical Director

SKILL, COMPETENCY & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Required qualifications: 

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
  • Three years of related work experience, computer proficiency and ability to multi-task
  •  Demonstrates competency in using evidenced based treatments for addictive diseases and mental illness
  • Ability to work from and promote a person-centered, recovery oriented, and trauma informed philosophy in client care

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • At least one year’s experience in a management/supervisor role
  • Experience working in substance use treatment programs
  • Must be well organized and client focuses with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to utilize technology efficiently and effectively
