Network Analyst
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Network Analyst is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting CEF network infrastructure. The Network Analyst will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure network performance, security, and availability. The ideal candidate will have experience in networking, cybersecurity, and business continuity best practices. The Network Analyst will participate in the design and installation of network infrastructure including running and terminating cabling. This position will provide assistance to the Service Desk by providing support to trouble shooting and resolving network issues and, from time to time, will work within construction sites.
REQUIREMENTS: A High School degree or HSE plus five years of experience in a networking position is required. An associate or bachelor’s degree in a related technical field is preferred. The successful candidate will have the ability to learn new technology quickly, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues. An understanding of TCP/IP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN management, and other networking skills is required. As well, familiarity with Microsoft 365, network access control, vulnerability management systems, Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquiti, VMWare, Veeam, or Palo Alto. Network certifications such as CCNA, Network +, and JNCIA is preferred.
