Systems Maintenance Associate
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Systems Maintenance Associate will read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings as they relate to various utility systems on campus. They will have a working knowledge of HVAC refrigeration and be able to repair campus units as needed, they will be able to maintain and perform repairs, modifications, replacements and installations of water, storm, and sewer systems. The Systems Maintenance Associate must have basic electrical experience and will possess the ability to maintain accurate records of the preventative and regular maintenance performed.
REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must possess a High School Diploma or GED, a Valid Indiana Driver’s License with a good driving record, 2 - 5 years of experience in HVAC Refrigeration, and have general knowledge of all phases of plumbing, welding, equipment, and mechanical operational and maintenance procedures. Must have a general working knowledge of machinery, pumps, equipment, HVAC, boilers, refrigeration lines, demonstrated mechanical aptitude, shop math and work order interpretation skills. Postsecondary courses in shop, plumbing, drafting, blueprint reading, computers, general mathematics, and physics are desired.
