BASIC PURPOSE:

The Account Sales Representative is responsible for the sales activity and market penetration of healthcare professionals at prospect and inactive accounts and maximizing sales and margin in conjunction with the Account Managers

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Identify new business opportunities, plan, work, follow-up, close.
  • Actively pursue placement opportunities and source for healthcare professionals via cold calling and source marketing prospect and inactive accounts.
  • Negotiate client contracts with competitive traveler compensation and bill rates, as well the highest possible profit margins for the company.
  • Identify business opportunities with existing clients.
  • Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Initiate and develop the foundation for strong client relationships with end result being long-term profitability when assimilated into a Regional Account Executive’s territory for management.
  • Follow up on all leads generated by recruitment.
  • Process interview between client facilities and healthcare professionals
  • Coordinate rate card with pricing team to present to clients.
  • Work with contracts team to get credit clearance and present the contract to clients.
  • Obtain and input accurate hospital requirements.
  • All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Healthcare, Science or related technical degree.
  • Sales, marketing, business or a related field with a minimum of two (2) years of business development.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of equivalent combination of post high school education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 
  • Prior talent acquisition experience is highly desirable.
  • Travel required10 to 15%
  • Ability to perform both consultative and transactional sales where needed.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated negotiating abilities.
  • Handle several conflicting priorities, must be flexible, be willing to assist and fill in as needed. 
  • Communicate and work in a respectful, supportive manner with all teammates.

 

Company equipment(laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse headset) will be provided directly to you for use during employment.
