ROLE SUMMARY
The Compliance Coordinator manages day-to-day compliance procedures across CorePower Yoga's 200+ studio portfolio, including business licensing, permits, and data privacy requirements. This role maintains accurate documentation and serves as a key liaison between studios, operations, and internal departments to ensure proper execution of all compliance obligations.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Obtaining and maintaining proper business licenses and permits for new and existing studios without any lapses or cancellations.
- Researching local, city, state, and jurisdictional ordinances.
- Providing proof of insurance for off-site studio events and lease compliance.
- Tracking, reporting, and responding to inspections, notices, and violations in a timely manner.
- Collecting and submitting documents to third party for state and local taxes to be paid and timely filed.
- Managing administrative processes related to company data privacy program, including handling initial verifications, responding to privacy escalation requests through company privacy portal, third-party communications, process management, working cross-functionally, and ongoing monitoring to maintain regulatory compliance and efficiencies.
- Organizing and maintaining compliance related records, files, and databases to ensure they are up-to-date and readily accessible.
- Keeping cross functional and departmental team members informed of the status of work assigned and providing regular updates on project process.
- Carrying out additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of related experience supporting a legal or compliance function
- Strong organization, with an attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment and manage shifting priorities
- Detail oriented, strong task management and organizational skills
- High level of initiative, self-motivation, and adaptability.
COMPENSATION
- $25-27/hr
