Warehouse Supervisor (2nd Shift)

SUMMARY STATEMENT/POSITION OVERVIEW:

Join us as we launch exciting new operations with the US Postal Service! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to help sort undeliverable and fraudulent mail. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring the team's efficient processing and handling of mail to enhance postal service reliability and security.

This is a 2nd Shift opportunity (Monday - Friday - 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM) with possible overtime and weekends. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES - Warehouse Supervisor

• Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, production, shipping and inventory control.
  
•  Ensure the safe and efficient handling of consumer goods and packages.
  
• Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a positive and motivating work environment.
  
•  Implement and uphold safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  
• Collaborate with management to strategize and streamline operations for optimal efficiency.
  
• Resolve any issues related to warehousing operations promptly and effectively.

SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS - Warehouse Supervisor 

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role.
  
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics, preferably with experience in postal services or related industries.
  
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
  
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Proficient in warehouse management systems.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Must be willing to work second shift.
