Pay Rate: $18-$20 hourly

Crown Staffing Solutions is seeking a Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated, detail-oriented leader with experience in warehouse operations, ready to oversee and guide a team in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of materials. As a Team Lead, you will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and security while fostering a collaborative and safe work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead Operations: Supervise and guide a team to efficiently sort and inspect items according to established criteria.
• Team Coordination: Ensure that sorting targets are met by closely monitoring team performance and providing support where needed.
• Training & Development: Train and mentor new team members, ensuring they understand operational procedures, safety guidelines, and best practices.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety and security protocols, ensuring the team works in compliance with all warehouse policies and maintains a safe working environment.
• Performance Monitoring: Track team performance, address any issues, and provide feedback to ensure high productivity and accuracy.
• Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between team members and management, ensuring smooth communication and a positive work environment.
• Other Duties: Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor, including assisting with operations when necessary.

Job Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience:
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations or sorting is required.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy in sorting and handling.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds independently and greater weights with team assistance.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for extended periods.
• Safety Awareness:
  • Ability to perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns indicating the start-up or movement of equipment (forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, etc.).
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to lead the team and report progress to management.
