Position Overview:
We are looking for a hardworking and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to join our steel manufacturing team. This versatile role involves supporting multiple positions within the plant, contributing to efficient operations while prioritizing safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience working with heavy machinery, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to maintain an organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the shear operator with daily tasks and operations.
• Set up skids for stacking finished materials.
• Inspect materials on the line for defects, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Roll out bundles, band them securely, and prepare materials for upcoming work.
• Perform a variety of tasks as assigned, with opportunities for cross-training to develop new skills.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment to ensure workplace safety.

Position Requirements:

• Basic experience in reading a tape measure and understanding measurements.
• Comfort and familiarity with operating heavy machinery, including using the correct safety equipment.
• Physical ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
