Job Overview:

The Sales Operations Manager will oversee inside sales, order intake, and order execution, ensuring seamless operations and driving efficiency across multiple sales and operational systems. This role is critical in harmonizing and optimizing disparate systems, improving data flow, and eliminating inefficiencies in sales processes to enhance overall business performance.

This position will support the entire Eastern Hemisphere region, requiring the ability to manage teams across multiple countries and support diverse markets. The ideal candidate must be adept at leading cross-border teams, coordinating with regional stakeholders, and ensuring alignment in sales operations across different markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Process & Order Execution

  • Lead and streamline inside sales, order intake, revenue by month and order execution functions to improve operational efficiency across multiple countries.
  • Optimize the quote-to-cash process, ensuring seamless coordination between sales, finance, and operations teams in various markets.
  • Ensure accurate and timely order processing, reducing bottlenecks and improving customer experience across multiple geographies.
  • Act as the primary liaison between sales, pricing, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution across different markets.

 

System Harmonization & Optimization

  • Integrate and optimize multiple sales, CRM, ERP, and order management systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in a multi-country environment.
  • Eliminate inefficiencies in sales operations by identifying redundant processes and implementing automation where possible.
  • Work closely with IT and sales leadership to harmonize data across platforms, ensuring seamless system interaction across multiple markets.
  • Develop best practices for cross-system reporting and data integrity to improve forecasting and sales tracking.

 

Pipeline Management & Forecasting

  • Managing the sales attainment and monthly revenue forecast files
  • Own and manage sales pipeline reporting, ensuring accurate forecasting and visibility for the Eastern Hemisphere region.
  • Develop real-time dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track sales effectiveness across multiple countries.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to ensure that opportunities are accurately captured and progressed through the pipeline.
  • Provide data-driven insights to improve decision-making, pricing strategies, and revenue growth across different markets.

 

Process Improvement & Multi-Country Support

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance speed, accuracy, and efficiency in sales operations across the region.
  • Align sales operations with pricing, finance, and supply chain to improve cross-functional collaboration in multiple countries.
  • Create and maintain sales policies, best practices, and workflow automation to drive standardization across diverse markets.
  • Support regional sales leadership in refining sales strategy based on performance insights across multiple countries.

 

Reporting & Data Analytics

  • Develop and maintain sales performance dashboards and reporting tools for real-time business insights at the regional level to drive transparency in the region.
  • Leverage data analytics to optimize pricing, sales execution, and customer engagement in diverse market environments.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven process optimization across all supported countries.

 

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and manage a multi-country team, ensuring alignment and collaboration across different time zones and business environments.
  • Support and mentor sales and operations teams, ensuring effective adoption of CRM, SAP, and sales automation tools.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture while ensuring consistency in execution across all supported markets.
  • Work closely with regional and country sales teams to drive operational excellence and revenue growth.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Educational Qualification:  Bachelors degree equivalent advanced degree in finance , Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales operations, order execution, or business process management within a B2B industrial setting.
  • Strong expertise in harmonizing and optimizing multiple sales, CRM, ERP, and order management systems across multiple countries.
  • Proven ability to eliminate inefficiencies by improving system integration and process workflows.
  • Experience in quote-to-cash process management, pricing optimization, and contract execution across diverse markets.
  • Data-driven mindset, with a strong understanding of analytics, forecasting, and sales pipeline management at a regional level.
  • Ability to manage a multi-country team, ensuring cross-border collaboration and consistency in sales operations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to navigate different cultural, regulatory, and business environments across the Eastern Hemisphere.
