What you will do:

 

We are looking for a COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM MANAGER who can help shape our vision and support our mission. Here is what the position will look like.

  • Coordinate support and meeting logistics for community engagement staff and broader COA staff engaging in community.
  • Ensure the team is equipped with the resources and tools they need to successfully carry out their duties including supplies, volunteers, and translation/accessibility services for events. 
  • Ensure COA staff engaging in community are prepared, through trainings, clear communication, and on-site support for events in which they engage. 
  • Support team and external partners in processing event sponsorship payments.
  • Research and monitor key community leaders, organizations, and groups, to assist team efforts in fostering strong partnerships. 
  • Organize meetings, workshops, or focus groups with autonomy, anticipating needs and developing thorough plans independently.
  • Develop data collection systems to track and maintain information about participating organizations in the CBO (Community Based Organization) Network.
  • Create and maintain information in the CBO Network resource directory including contact information, services/area, and service capacity to ensure accurate information is available to staff to make effective closed-loop referrals.
  • Support trainings for CBO partners, coordinating with Learning & Organizational Development team to offer trainings that reflect the learning needs of partner organizations (e.g. Medicaid credentialling 101, Colorado Access reporting, etc.). 
  • Support identification and documentation of community resources (CBO partners, institutional partners) within COA Health Neighborhood, including through data management in Salesforce.
  • Serve as an internal point of contact for CBO Network partners who need assistance with payments, reporting, or other contract-related needs.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders/vendors for monitoring and evaluation activities and collect and analyze outcome metrics with minimal guidance.
  • Track progress against the project timeline and goals, ensuring activities are completed as planned. 
  • Drive team engagement with tracking systems, monitor compliance with quarterly data tracking expectations.
  • Coordinate SDOH data management (tracking, analysis, reporting, etc.), liaising with other departments to support monitoring & evaluation (e.g. BI, Health Outcomes) 
  • Monitor the impact of community engagement efforts, gathering feedback and measuring the effectiveness of initiatives. Track and report on CE team metrics. 
  • Coordinate HCPF contract deliverable reporting for Community Engagement team.
  • Build systems integration to facilitate easier reporting.
  • Support team in developing systems for collecting and reporting on metrics from community-based services.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify challenges or areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly. 
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Communications teams in the maintenance of communication materials, such as flyers, social media posts, newsletters, and press releases, to support CE team events, projects, and initiatives.
  • Support COA and team efforts to solicit feedback from diverse members of the community through formal and informal structures
  • Proactively identify and address any issues or concerns that arise, whether related to community feedback, team dynamics, or logistics. 
  • In partnership, participate in the resolution of conflicts and work toward constructive solutions. 
  • Provide regular reports to leadership and organization on project progress, outcomes, and challenges. 
  • Document lessons learned and best practices to inform future community engagement projects. 
  • Ensure all project-related documentation is organized and accessible for future reference. 

 

 

What you will bring:

 

Education:  Bachelor’s degree. Equivalent combination of experience and/or education may substitute with a preference for seven years progressive relevant work experience.

 

Experience:  Minimum of three to five years progressive project management experience. Program development and program evaluation experience required. Previous healthcare industry experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be able to operate autonomously. Position requires proactivity, with strong ability to anticipate team needs without continual prompting. Must be extremely detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills. Position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with executives and management staff.  Demonstrates support for the company’s mission, vision and values.  Requires strong computer skills in a variety of programs, preferably Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint with ability to work with a variety of project management tools. 

Requires ability to manage changing priorities.  Must have excellent customer service skills with a high degree of professionalism. May be required to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines. 

 

Licenses/Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.  A valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance will be required for any position requiring driving.

Pay, Perks and Benefits at Colorado Access:

The compensation for this position is $69,300.00 - $85,050.00 annually. Colorado Access has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Colorado Access may pay for the position at the time of posting. Colorado Access may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Where you will work:

This position will be a hybrid model work environment, a blend of ‘In-Office’ and ‘Remote.’
