130 - Nurse Aide/HHA - Nursing Assistant - Non-Certified
Position Summary
The Nurse Assistant assists the licensed nursing staff by providing direct resident care related to Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).

Rate:
$16/hour
Qualifications:
- Caring, compassionate, and understanding
- Have a high school diploma, GED diploma or active registry status on the Florida nurse aide registry
- 18 years of age or older
- Be free from a medical condition, including drug or alcohol addiction that would limit the staff person from providing necessary personal care services with reasonable skill and safety
- Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
- Nurse Aides with Medication Administration responsibilities will need additional qualifications:
1) Successful completion of the approved medications course that includes the passing of the performance-based competency test within the past 2 years to be able to administer oral, topical, eye, nose and ear drop prescription medication, and epinephrine injections for insect bites or other allergies
2) Successful completion of an approved diabetes patient education program within the past 12 months to be able to administer insulin injections
