Concordia Visiting Nurses is hiring full time and part time Registered Nurses (RN)! Register Nurses are needed to cover our Avella service area, allowing you to work close to your home. You make your own schedule, and you drive your own salary! Graduate nurses are welcome to apply!

POSITION SUMMARY

The Registered Nurse is a licensed healthcare professional with advanced medical knowledge who administers skilled nursing care to patients requiring intermittent visits in their homes. She/he provides complex care to the patient and coordinates necessary support services. These nursing services are provided to patients in accordance with a physician’s plan of care. RNs who serve as primary nurses utilize case manager approach in assessing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating client care.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE REGISTERED NURSES RN POSITION:

• Registered professional nurse with a current valid Pennsylvania license
• Minimum of two [2] years of current experience as a professional nurse in a medical/surgical work area and one [1] year of home health experience (preferred)
• Skilled in critical thinking, communication, negotiation and collaboration
• Reliable, independent means of transportation to make home visits. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and drive a vehicle with insurance limits as established by the state.
