Position Summary:
The Manager of project management will supervise and oversee the project management team. Within their responsibility is the professional development of project managers (PM’s), set up governance and standards that the project managers need to follow, as well as collaborate with PMP, IT and Business leadership peers. This role will manage FTE and Contract PM’s.
This is a Remote/Work from Home position reporting to Director of PMO Services.
What you will do:
- Mentoring and Training: Provide project managers with training and mentoring on the ClearCaptions project execution process.
- Manage the centralized active projects portfolio view in collaboration with Strategic Program Owners (SPO).
- Key Liaison role between the PM team and the SPO team. The first escalation point for the PM’s will be the SPO team and this role will act as the 2nd level escalation point for all project managers in the PMO team.
- Project Execution Best Practices: Establish and maintain governance, processes and standards on how to execute technology projects across the enterprise
- Roles and Responsibilities: Clearly define roles and responsibilities for project execution process, across the different roles and stakeholders participating on projects.
- Resource Management: Centralize the function of project resource capacity planning and resource planning across the strategy execution team, to better assist the PM and SPO team to create project teams.
- Scheduling Management: Setup process to T-Shirt Size project efforts and continuously update schedules as more clarity is gained to define milestones and timeline expectations.
- Collaborate with Technology Leaders to assist project managers gather the right resources to formulate project teams to effectively execute projects timely.
- Budget Management: Develop and maintain the process to accurately manage Capex/Opex tracking per project.
- Risk Management: Centralize and setup procedures of communication and escalation across the project management life cycle.
- Project Change Management: Implement and manage project change and interventions communication and processes to achieve project outcomes.
- Assign Project Managers in accordance toSPO’s roadmaps and prioritization as new project intakes are requested and aligned to the business objectives.
- Define KPIs through out the life cycle of the projects, so the IT leadership team can be informed and better understand trends on project execution and make better informed decisions based on data.
- Take an active talent management approach to onboard, mentor and inspire a diverse, highly engaged, and skilled team. Continually upgrade talent through timely talent management, development, succession planning and recruitment.
- Provide project execution guidance via waterfall and scrum methodology.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or technology engineering or project management; master’s degree in project management or MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience as a program manager, portfolio manager, manager of project management.
- Scrum Master Certification a plus; PMP Certification a plus
- Jira, Confluence, MS Project, SharePoint, Project Management Life Cycle Tools a plus.
- Respectful and outstanding leadership skills that motivate colleagues to focus their energy on achieving business goals.
- Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and tactical operational levels. Works to achieve goals while overcoming obstacles and/or planning for contingencies.

- Strong Leadership, communication, organizational and technical project management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to adapt and work under pressure.
- Proficient in MS Office, modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams)

Work Environment:
100% Remote: Work environment is at home.
Compensation:
