IT Governance & Process Analyst (100% Remote)

Position Summary:
The IT Governance & Process Analyst will support IT governance, process documentation, and change management. The role will be responsible for documenting and improving IT processes, policies and reports. As well as compiling documentation for Root Cause Analysis (RCA), incident management, governance reports and dashboards.
This is a Remote/Work from Home position reporting to the Director of IT Operations.
What you will do:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and generate regular reports on incident reports and trends, RCA findings, training materials, and project handover documentation for management review.
- Ensure IT processes align with internal policies and external regulatory requirements (training provided).
- Work with IT and business teams to create clear, structured documentation for processes.Support IT change management by reviewing and organizing change requests.
- Document process flows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and governance reports.
- Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency. Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and optimization to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Help track compliance with IT governance policies and identify gaps.
- Develop governance reports, dashboards, and summaries for leadership review.
- Work cross-functionally to gather insights from IT, compliance, and business teams.
- Maintain records of IT governance meetings, including minutes and action items.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Compliance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in process documentation, compliance, governance, or business analysis.
- Strong writing and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear reports.
- Experience working with policies, risk assessments, or compliance frameworks in any industry.
- Familiarity with frameworks like ITIL, COBIT, or ISO 27001
- Experience in regulated industries (i.e., finance, healthcare, government) preferred.
- Knowledge of workflow or service management tools (i.e., Jira, ServiceNow, or Confluence).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation,and problem-solvings kills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create high-quality results-driven,team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient in MS Office, modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams)
Physical Demands:
Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:
- Sitting, standing, and walking (95-100%)
- Keyboarding (40-60%)
- Viewing computer monitor, tablet and cell phone screen requiring close vision (95-100%)
Work Environment:
100% Remote: Work environment is at home.
Compensation:
