Position Summary:
The UI/UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating intuitive, user-friendly product experiences that align with our business goals and brand identity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, development, and research groups to design product interfaces websites, and other digital experiences that enhance user satisfaction and drive engagement.
In this role, you will balance user-centric design principles with business needs, ensuring seamless and responsive user experiences across all platforms. You will also be a key contributor to the overall design strategy and help shape the digital presence of the company.
This is a Remote/Work from Home position reporting to the Brand Marketing Manager
- What you will do:
- Lead the UI/UX design process for various products, with a focus on optimizing experiences for older adults.
- Collaborate with the Brand Marketing Manager to ensure designs are aligned with broader brand strategies and marketing goals.
- Conduct competitive analysis specifically targeting products catered to seniors to inform design decisions and improve accessibility.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that cater to the needs of seniors while maintaining a seamless experience across mobile, web, and other digital platforms.
- Partner with product leaders, developers, and marketing team members to deliver intuitive, senior-friendly designs that meet both user needs and business objectives.
- Develop and maintain design systems that support the unique requirements of senior users, including larger text sizes, simplified navigation, and other methods to provide an equitable user experience.
- Build, manage and evolve design systems including style guides, pattern libraries, component libraries to maintain consistency across our platforms.
- Continuously improve designs through user feedback, A/B testing, and data analysis, with a focus on enhancing accessibility and usability for older audiences.
- Collaborate with UX research agencies to capture and implement meaningful feedback.
- Stay informed on UI/UX trends, accessibility standards, and innovations in senior-friendly technology to incorporate the latest design thinking into our products.
- Partner with the marketing team to develop campaigns, landing pages, and other digital assets. Ensure a consistent look and feel across all channels.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in the telecommunications or technology sectors.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in UI/UX design, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final visual designs.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and collaboration with front-end developers is a plus.
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design ideas and concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a small marketing team or startup environment.
- Knowledge of telecommunications products, services, or industry trends.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in A/B testing and data-driven optimization of user interfaces.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient in MS Office, modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams)

Work Environment
100% Remote: Work environment is at home.
Compensation:
