Forecast Planner Analyst

CLARK Material Handling Company, is a 100 year old company, and a global  leader in the material handling and forklift industry. CLARK is seeking qualified candidates to join our team.

The Forecast/Planner Analyst position is responsible for reviewing large amounts of inventory and sales data to ensure accurate ordering and stocking levels. This individual will need to create and run reports and queries. This person will monitor actual demand vs the forecast, establishes priorities and problem solves to ensure the company meets our customer requirements.

This position is an onsite position in our Global HQ office located in Flower Mound, TX. This is not a remote position. 

Essential Functions:

• Analyze, maintain and adjust the forecast daily to ensure the integrity of the numbers and to maintain inventory levels and high availability numbers
• Plan, schedule and coordinate the purchasing of all aftermarket parts needed to meet demands
• Run daily reports to analyze order point items for ordering
• Collaborate closely with Expeditors, Buyers, vendors and others in all areas to resolve issues
• General maintenance of new and existing part numbers including buyer code changes, NLA parts, order point and safety stock set up, assignment of prod plan group code
• Query writing i.e., availability reports, open queue report, expedite reports, and other requests
• Responsible for availability reports
• Responsible for all Material Management Reports
• Actively participate within the Materials Teams for special projects.
• Prioritize daily workload, special projects to provide excellent internal and external Customer Service.
• Daily analyze reports in preparation of planning for specific Buyers
• Create Purchase orders to maintain inventory levels in the parts distribution center
• Communicate strongly with specific Buyers regarding quotes, lead times, pricing, and various issues with suppliers
• Obtain strong business relationship with suppliers and constant communication
• Support company policies and demonstrate concern for the success of the business.

• Work customer service inquiries as required

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong/Proven analytical skills
• Experience with managing and analyzing large amounts of data
• Understanding of basic economic principles
• Strong marketing and business, materials management, or financial background
• Self-motivated, assertive, and proactive attitude
• APICS certification (CPIM, CIRM) preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others internally and externally at various levels of the organization through clear, concise writing and telephone usage.
• Ability to handle volume and mix of assignments daily.
• Ability to problem solve, take supervision and direction from Managers and Senior Buyer Team Leaders.
• Must be authorized to work in the US indefinitely without sponsorship

Due to the nature of some of the tasks, frequent visits to our factory or supplier factory facilities are necessary.
