Senior Services - Senior Guest Services - Part Time
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under general supervision, to perform a wide range of customer service duties and functions in Guest Services at the Rose Park Senior Center. Provides support to division administrative staff in the operations of Senior Services.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
This position exercises no supervision.
IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Greet citizens on arrival to the Rose Park Senior Center and respond to general inquiries.
Provide administrative support to supervisors and managers.
Support customer services operations by addressing citizen inquiries and providing information of center functions and activities.
Responsible for setup, teardown and cleanup of various special events and programming activities.
Handle incoming and outgoing calls.
Maintain, inspect, and clean equipment and facilities, adhering to all policies and procedures.
Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Rose Park Senior Center.
Operate a vehicle to transport food to various locations as needed.
OTHER JOB RELATED DUTIES
Transport food, as needed, to other sites.
Perform other job related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Safe driving practices and vehicle operation for transporting food.

Experience and Training Guidelines:
For positions with more than one level, all listed requirements at the lower levels are required at the higher levels. Experience:
This is an entry level position, but preference may be given to individuals with previous customer service experience.
Education/Training:
A high school diploma or GED is required.
License or Certificate:
A valid Texas driver's license is required.
Special Requirements:
Essential duties require the following physical skills and work environment:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, nights, and weekends.
Work environment includes the possibility of working outdoors in extreme heat and cold.
