ECOM Sales Specialist
The ECOM Sales Specialist is responsible for managing product pricing, operations, and presentation within the e-commerce channel for Visual Comfort & Co. This role ensures the integrity of pricing and distribution, working closely with various teams including marketing, sales, sales operations, and customer service to drive e-commerce success. The ECOM Sales Specialist also plays a pivotal role in optimizing online products and enhancing the shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage contract pricing for e-commerce accounts and ensure special discounts are applied accurately at the item level.
- Review and address vendor compliance issues, including fines from Amazon, Home Depot, and Lowe’s, and work to minimize future fines.
- Collaborate with e-commerce account managers to complete product data onboarding and data templates for platforms such as Wayfair and Perigold.
- Coordinate and manage inventory updates for key e-commerce accounts, ensuring accurate product availability across partner sites.
- Oversee UMAP violations, including monitoring rogue sellers and unauthorized accounts via My Samm tool, and initiate actions to resolve issues.
- Assist in the liquidation of discontinued and overstocked products, collaborating with sales and marketing teams to optimize product promotions, pricing, and ad campaigns.
- Support the launch of new products and promotional campaigns, ensuring accurate data and product tagging.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales analytics, and product management to execute e-commerce strategies.
- Use data to identify and act upon new opportunities for inventory sell-through, both in B2B and B2C channels, including Amazon Seller Central and other related marketplaces.
- Provide coordination and direction for product build-outs and sell-through strategies for discontinued products.
- Utilize Business Intelligence tools to support data analysis and reporting.
- Work with internal teams to track progress and meet financial targets related to e-commerce sales and inventory management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations, customer service, e-commerce, or a related field.
- Knowledge of e-commerce marketing, product positioning, and brand strategy preferred.
- Experience with Visual Comfort & Co products or the lighting industry is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
- Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and autonomy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across email, chat, and phone.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines.
- Strong project management and planning skills.
- Ability to collaborate with various internal teams to achieve e-commerce goals.

Compensation Range: $60,000 - 75,000
