HR Manager
The Human Resources Manager communicates, facilitates, implements and monitors new and/or enhanced HR programs, policies and procedures. Promotes proactive, positive Team Member relations and appropriately balances the roles of both Team Member and company advocate. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, as well as applicable regulations and standards. The HR Manager will lead a team of HR Business Partners and Coordinators.
Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
- Provides coaching, leadership and support to managers and Team Members regarding Human Resources policies, procedures, programs, questions, and concerns. Including complex, specialized and sensitive questions and issues; reasonable accommodations, investigations and performance issues.
- Works with leadership on managing employee disciplinary meetings, written documentation and investigations.
- Develops and implements proactive strategies to promote positive employee relations and minimize conflicts.
- Working with business leaders supports organizational structure initiatives.
Employee Engagement:
- Drives initiatives focusing on retention, engagement, recognition and talent management.
- Design, execute and champion organizational culture initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale, including but not limited to monthly engagement activities and recognition programs.
- Analyze engagement survey data and collaborate with management to implement action plans based on feedback.
- Manages and implements ESG and Diversity initiatives throughout the organization.
- Champions the summer internship program. Including the execution of program initiatives and weekly activities.
Performance Management:
- Provides guidance to managers on effective performance feedback and coaching techniques.
- Collaborate across the organization to create and continuously fine-tune programs and policies through feedback, metrics, trends, key insights and analytics.
- Oversee the performance management process for business units, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
Policy Development and Compliance:
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource guidelines which align with federal and state requirements.
- Works with leadership to maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews and updates policies/handbook to maintain compliance.
- Partners with business units to develop departmental policies to create and improve efficiencies.
- Monitors and manages immigration related compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Human Resources, Business, or related degree preferred
- 7+ years of full-time related progressive, generalist experience in Human Resources. Robust knowledge of and experience in federal, state, and local employment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong proficiency navigating Microsoft Office Suite and an HRIS System. Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is a plus
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Must exhibit maturity in judgement and confidentiality
- Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation
- Demonstrate exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat and phone
- Available to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
- Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems

Compensation range: $110,000 - $125,000
