In this role you will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for Visual Comfort while maintaining organizational core values, honesty, excellence, integrity, family, and inspiration.
Responsibilities
- Main goal is to identify, assess, and bring top talent to Visual Comfort in the US and abroad.
- Responsible for guiding managers and candidates through Visual Comfort’s selection process and maintaining excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, and the community at large.
- Partnering with leadership and hiring managers to identify and build out staffing needs and strategies in luxury retail and customer service environments.
- Create and maintain strong working relationships with senior management and hiring managers, to create a partnership which yields success, predictable results, and credibility.
- Possess a solid understanding of the complete recruiting function, including: research, sourcing, networking, behavior based interviewing and closing.
- Effective communication approaches including: keeping others informed, appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts, verbally and in written form, and timeliness.
- Maintain flexibility to deal with shifting priorities and the evolving needs of our rapidly expanding business environment.
- Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2 + years of recruiting in retail luxury furnishings, products and services preferred
- 3+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience with high-performing company
- Proven work experience as an Internal Recruiter
- Proven track record of building rapport with hiring managers and cross-functional partners, across regions and teams
- Possess well-developed network of candidates and/or the skills to build the network quickly and comprehensively
- Inform company’s strategic direction through understanding of the talent market (e.g., where to find particular skills, salary expectations of those with similar skills, etc.)
- Help drive recruiting initiatives, including diversity and inclusion
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $80,000
