Cedarville University seeks a detail-oriented and organized Clinical Site Implementation Specialist (CSIS) to assist our recently launched Physician Assistant (PA) Program in our School of Allied Health and Psychology. This is a temporary, twenty-hour-per-week position that begins immediately and continues through June 2025.
Primary responsibilities of the CSIS include recruiting and onboarding clinical rotation sites. This opportunity is ideal for a self-starter who excels in communication, coordination, and relationship management. This temporary role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing PA program by building relationships with clinical sites that will help shape the future of healthcare professionals.
The CSIS plays a crucial role in recruiting, securing, and training clinical partners for the Cedarville University PA Program and managing documentation required for clinical site agreements. This individual assists the Director of Clinical Education (DCE) with PA preceptor and clinical site compliance; schedules required meetings between the DCE, clinical sites, and preceptors; manages referrals to the DCE to further conversations about future engagement with the University and its PA Program, updates required program records, schedules site evaluations in partnership with designated PA faculty, provides support to PA faculty responsible for clinical site evaluations, and provides essential support needed to advance PA Program initiatives.
Initial training on the Cedarville University campus is required. A hybrid work opportunity will be considered for suitable local applicants.
Qualifications:
- A four-year undergraduate degree from an accredited program preferred
- Experience in office management, preferably in a US healthcare setting, or experience as a healthcare professional in a hospital or clinical setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Innovative problem-solving skills
- High degree of professionalism
- Ability to use technology effectively, including word processing, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and database management software
- Ability to produce professional reports, documents, and communications, both written and electronic
- Excellent communication and human relations skills with various internal and external constituencies
- Excellent office support skills with keen attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to produce results independently and a vision for teamwork and institutional results
