Adjunct Faculty: Robert W. Plaster School of Business - Communication Fundamentals of Speech - Residential

The Department of Communication, in the Robert W. Plaster School of Business, seeks residential (on-campus) adjuncts to instruct our basic Fundamentals of Speech course.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching courses in accordance with University, School, and Department of Communication guidelines
- Availability on weekends or evenings for frequent and timely communication
- Motivating and assisting students in completion of course learning objectives
- Actively committing to student spiritual formation and growth
- Maintaining a strong commitment to excellence in an educational environment
- Modeling Christ-like attitudes and values
- Following a Biblical approach to student engagement
- Integrating Biblical concepts and worldview
Adjuncts may be utilized on a temporary, part-time basis to provide instruction during the academic year as instructional needs arise. These temporary adjunct positions are subject to Cedarville University policies, verification of credentials and other information required by law, including the successful completion of a background check. These positions are located in Cedarville, Ohio.
Position Requirements:
- M.A. in Communication
- Experience teaching public speaking in-class and/or online
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Documented successful teaching experience
- Committed to biblical integration in and out of the classroom
- Qualified applicant must be a born-again Christian
- Qualified applicant must agree with and be willing to abide by Cedarville University's Doctrinal Statement, Community Covenant and General Work Place Standards.
