The Graduate School at Cedarville University seeks a Director of Admissions to drive the recruitment process for our School of Pharmacy program by developing and implementing a student-centered recruitment strategy to attract the best possible pool of applicants. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Graduate Enrollment, the successful candidate will work closely with academic program directors and other support staff to achieve enrollment goals. This is a full-time (2080-hour), exempt position.

The Director of Admissions for the School of Pharmacy is responsible for overseeing all aspects of recruitment and admissions for both undergraduate pre-pharmacy and graduate PharmD programs. This role involves the development and execution of recruitment strategies, management of the admissions process, and close collaboration with faculty and staff to achieve enrollment goals. The Director will ensure that recruitment efforts align with the strategic goals of both the university and the School of Pharmacy.

The Director will achieve graduate program enrollment targets; represent the School of Pharmacy at conferences, career fairs and other institutions of higher learning; proactively develop and implement recruitment strategies for prospective students; serve as a liaison between the University and prospective students; effectively communicate industry trends, quality of leads, and program updates; share creative suggestions to achieve enrollment targets; conduct initial application review; and utilize database tools to efficiently track and manage prospective student leads.

This position is subject to the University's verification of credentials and other information required by law and Cedarville University policies, including the successful completion of a background check. This position is located in Cedarville, Ohio.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, supplemented with a minimum of five (5) years of related work experience in recruitment, student service, higher education, customer service, or similar experiences preferred. Director-level designation is based on relevant work experience and qualifications.
  • Excellent computer proficiency with the ability to use technology to acquire, analyze, and communicate information. Fluency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) and Slate (or similar CRM) strongly preferred. A working knowledge of the Centralized Application Service (CAS) system used by various programs is also preferred.
