Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management, the Director of Enrollment Services is a key leader in the division and is tasked with providing strategic leadership and vision for the enrollment services department. This is a full-time (2080 annual hours) exempt, on campus position. 

 

The Enrollment Services department oversees the effective management of university recruitment materials and displays, admission applications, inquiry and prospect communication plans, recruitment database and division reporting. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  1. Lead the Enrollment Services department, facilitating a collegial environment that encourages interaction and communication, fosters creativity and shared decision-making, and maximizes the value, commitment, and productivity of each team member.
  2. Lead the Enrollment Management Division’s print and electronic communications process for all undergraduate recruitment. Also, this position will collaborate key stakeholders across the campus who seek to communicate effectively with prospective students, advising on communication strategies and assisting with event and recruitment related communications. 
  3. Oversee the implementation of the communication plan and evaluates the effectiveness of efforts. 
  4. Oversee the production of reports that track division progress including lead generation, admission reports, final semester reports and other reports as requested. 
  5. Oversee the application process (Slate application and CommonApp) to the university, including the creation and maintenance of the application, the processing of the application and the associated documentation necessary for admission, creation and implementation of drip communication campaigns designed to communicate to prospective students and Admission personnel alike essential steps from the initial inquiry through to matriculation.
  6. Oversee the accurate CRM (Slate) and SIS (Colleague) data management, establishing processes to be used by staff in the creation and maintenance of person and organization records. 
  7. Serve as power user of Slate (university CRM).  Responsibilities will include:
    1. Ensuring Slate supports all parts of the enrollment funnel.
    2. Developing and overseeing the implementation of techniques that will drive new leads.
    3. Plan and manage multi-channel communication campaigns.
    4. Suggest new methods to address prospective student needs.
    5. Track the effectiveness of communications.
    6. Continually review Slate for new features and process that when implemented will meet the needs of the Admission process. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree.
  2. At least two years of relevant work experience; ideal candidate will have prior experience in Slate and be familiar with the various components of admissions funnel management
  3. Excellent skills in problem solving, interpersonal communications, group dynamics, organization and leadership.
  4. Strong managerial skills; able to lead and motivate subordinates and colleagues.
  5. Excellent keyboarding skills; working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets.
  6. Spiritually and emotionally mature, energetic, professional, personable, attentive to detail, accurate, and diligent.
