Assembly Clerk

JOB SUMMARY
Assembles and routes sets of parts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assembles set according to work order instructions.
- Count parts to make sure correct.
- Put assembled sets in box to work order instructions.
- Print labels to work order instructions.
- Send box to shipping buffer.
- Package parts according to work order instructions.
- Maintain good housekeeping in work area during and at end of shift.
SUPERVISION
- Works under close supervision and follows detailed written and/or verbal instructions.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have clear understanding of basic math and can read, write and comprehend English (work orders, safety and operations instructions)
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND DEMANDS
- Exposure to manufacturing environment preferred.
- Spends 100% of time in the shop. Standing 90% of time.
- May be exposed to possible shop hazards including heaving machinery, fumes, dust, heat and high pressure and temperatures.
