GENERAL SUMMARY

Under some supervision and following established policies and department procedures, performs system maintenance for branches, provides back-office support associated with system related issues, upgrades or changes and troubleshoots problems and/or escalates as necessary. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Reviews daily SRM and GSR system and processes deposit account system maintenance requested by branches.
  • Processes customer Privacy Opt-Out notices and posts applicable changes to customer account system records. 
  • Reviews new accounts and maintenance reports for IRS regulatory reporting input accuracy, coordinates corrections with branches and processes required system updates.
  • Assists with daily ACH exception item processing, ACH stop payment requests and unauthorized ACH transaction claims.  
  • Processes dormant account updates and assists with annual escheat mailings and entry in escheat system. 
  • Performs annual W-8, B-Notice and C-notice mailings, processing, and updates customer account system records.
  • Performs miscellaneous deposit system maintenance as scheduled or assigned.
  • Coordinates updating, printing, and distributing of annual Authorized Signature Book.
  • Assists with ordering and maintaining supplies on behalf of Deposit Operations


QUALIFICATIONS

Education:    

  • High School Degree. Some College with business classes preferred but not mandatory.


Experience:   

  • Minimum of 2 more years of experience in a branch or back-office operations / banking operations. 

Skills/Ability:    

  • Proficient in deposit systems, PC literate with typing proficiency.  Detail oriented, 
    good math skills, strong communication skills, and ability to function in a team 
    environment.  Ability to work with minimal supervision.  Bilingual English/Mandarin or Cantonese) a plus.

 

OTHER DETAILS


$20.77 – $23.08 / hour
Pay determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
