GENERAL SUMMARY

Following established policies and department procedures, responsible for screening/interviewing SBA loan applicants, underwriting and servicing SBA Express, Cap Line, and EWCP, as well as SBA 7(a) and 504 loans.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Screen and interview SBA loan applicants and make necessary field visits.
  • Collect and spread financial statements, review credit reports, appraisals and other required documents.
  • Underwrite and present SBA loan CCR for Bank approval.
  • Prepare and submit SBA loan packages to respective SBA Officers for approval.
  • Respond and follow up on SBA District officers questions and requests.
  • Monitor and manage loan portfolio.
  • Analyze and prepare loan servicing requests on time to time basis.
  • Contact customer for payment collection.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education:    College degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience:    Minimum 6+ years of experience in SBA Lending (7a, 504, SBA Express, EWCP)
  • Skills/Ability:    PC proficient (Word, Excel) and detail oriented.  Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Bilingual in English/Chinese is a plus.  Knowledge in SOP 50 10 and SBA packaging.

$110K - $125K / year
Pay determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
