We are currently looking for an Executive Assistant in Houston, TX. 

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

 

This position’s primary focus is to provide outstanding administrative support while representing the Company and executives in a professional manner.  Daily tasks will be demanding and varied and should be handled with the utmost confidentiality.  The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can anticipate the needs of the CCO and other members of the Commercial team.  Must have the ability to focus and complete tasks while dealing with multiple interruptions throughout the day.

 

The responsibility of this position is to support the Commercial team by coordinating with BWP customers (internal/external) reflecting the integrity and respect inherent to the executive position and performing all administrative duties and maintaining the schedule of daily activities. 

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Preparing expense reports
  • Facilitating travel arrangements
  • Managing daily calendars
  • Planning events
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Compiling weekly reports from the commercial leaders
  • Answering/screening calls – taking messages and/or redirecting calls as appropriate
  • Serving as backup coverage for other administrative assistants and support all executive officers as needed

 

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • 10+ years related experience with a minimum of 7 years supporting commercial leaders
  • Advanced computer knowledge and aptitude with MS Office products
  • Strong customer focus and relationship building abilities
  • Intuition and initiative to assist commercial leaders in prioritizing meetings and other activities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizations skills
  • Interpersonal skills to handle a full spectrum of issues diplomatically and discretely
  • Competent in problem solving, decision making, multi-tasking and working effectively in a team environment

 

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

 

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
