Senior Ground Support Equipment Instructor / Mechanic

TekPro Support Services, LLC (TSS) is seeking an Instructor, Auto Repairman (Senior Ground Support Equipment Instructor / Mechanic) to support our ongoing mission in Des Moines, IA.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts platform or hands-on instruction, scenario-based training. Ensure students demonstrate an understanding of the subject matter through hands-on or written evaluations.
• Trains unit leaders to perform a risk assessment in accordance with the current Risk Management Doctrine
• Guides the conduction and documentation of AARs.
• Stages equipment, set up classrooms, and maintenance bays, prior to the arrival of the students

Qualifications:

• Skills: Platform instruction and course development
• Training: Training Development and Maintenance
• Certifications: Common Faculty Development-Instructor Course (CFD-IC) preferred.
• Educational Level: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the maintenance field.
