SharePoint Developer

STS Government Solutions, LLC (SGS) is seeking an SharePoint Developer to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain enterprise applications using Army Microsoft 365 platforms.
• Participate in requirements gathering, technical design sessions, software development, peer reviews, unit and integration testing.
• Ensure that efficient and high quality software deliverables are developed in an Agile environment.
• Troubleshoot applications provided from a number of sources, sometimes involving SharePoint third party tools.
• Ensure developed applications adhere to department policy and IA requirements.
• Optimize new and existing code for performance.
• Extend and augment the SharePoint platform by developing and maintaining SharePoint custom web parts and through the use of Power Platform, SPFx and JQuery.
• Provide end-user SharePoint support.
• Assist other SharePoint Developers and Content Managers with workflows, permissions, and other troubleshooting issues related to the SharePoint environment.
• Customize and maintain SharePoint master pages site branding. 

Required Skills:

• Software development experience with SharePoint including custom web part development, workflow design and implementation.
• Strong customer focus and teamwork skills. Flexibility to cope with a changing environment and short deadlines.
• Ability to successfully analyze, diagnose, and update existing SharePoint sites.
• Familiar with DISA application development STIGS and DoD IA requirements.

Desired Skills:

• Software development experience including website design and development using Microsoft .NET,Visual Studio, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, Web Services, etc.
• Power Platform (PowerBI, PowerApp, Power Automate, etc) experience
• Sharegate experience

Qualifications:

• Active Secret Clearance
• BS degree and 5 years of experience. More experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT II compliant certification
• At least one computing environment certification, preferably a Microsoft SharePoint certification
