SpecPro Sustainment & Environmental is in search of a Cultural Resource Specialist. This role will support the development of a climate adaption planning rubric and planning process on behalf of the National Parks Service. 

This role is critical in reviewing the cultural resources aspect of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Pilot Asset Classification Rubric Development, Application, and Implementation.  The Cultural Resource Specialist will play a key role in leading the development of cultural resource coastal adaptation strategies for infrastructure that will serve as actionable roadmaps to guide short- and long-term adaptation actions to transition to future conditions at each park unit.

•    None


Duties/Responsibilities:
•    Prepares Monthly progress reports and deliverables to the customer
•    Facilitate meetings, calls and workshops, both in-person and virtual
•    Review NPS vulnerability assessments for impacts to cultural resources to inform rubric development
•    Provide planning support for vulnerable sites, resources, and assets that can be used to engage with stakeholders such as Tribal nations
•    Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

•    Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 or similar software.
Education and Experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Archeology, Anthropology, History, or related field required.
•    Must meet the Secretary of the Interior's Professional Qualification Standards in at least one of the categories (History, Archeology, Architectural History, Historic Architecture, or a related field).

Work Environment:
