Staff Accountant

TSI is looking for a skilled staff accountant to provide accounting support services to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Financial Management (OFM). 

Responsibilities:
•    Ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis of technical and general ledger accounting and preparations of federal financial statements and notes. 
•    Ability to read, interpret, and develop financial management regulatory and/or accounting guidance and procedural documents. 

Additional knowledge and skills
•    Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and Power Point. 
•    Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. 
•    Ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis. 
•    Organized, with the ability to prioritize work and exercise independence judgment and initiative. 
•    Ability to gather facts and develop clear analyses to arrive at sound conclusions. 
•    Conduct organizational and procedural studies and prepare comprehensive products and/or reports. 
•    Properly interpret and make recommendations in accordance with laws, regulations, policies, or other appropriate legal requirements. 
•    Ability to analyze data from multiple sources.  

Education: 
•    BA in Accounting
•    2-5 years of experience in accounting, interpreting, and analyzing data and developing business requirements for a financial accounting team or similar in a CFO level organization or similar financial/budgeting environment. 

Security Clearance:
Candidates must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. An active Public Trust clearance is a plus. 

Work Location:
Remote, but will be required to support either Eastern Standard or Central Standard Daylight Saving Time hours. 

This position is contingent on contract award.
