Low Voltage Superintendent
Panhandle Power Solutions is seeking a self-motivated, deadline-driven Low Voltage Electrical Superintendent to successfully oversee the day-to-day operations of our ongoing projects at Tyndall AFB. As LV Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the project and managing the on-site construction team. The LV Electrical Superintendent must ensure orderliness on-site, compliance with safety regulations, adherence to quality standards, and timely availability of equipment and materials on site. This candidate will also aide in coordinating inspection authorities as necessary to obtain approvals. They will liaise with inspection authorities regarding approvals.
Successful LV Electrical Superintendents must complete projects on time, within budget, and without compromising on quality. Top candidates will be strong leaders, pro-active, and perform well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
• Lead and manage the on-site construction team.
• Coordinate and oversee all work on site.
• Work with Project Manager to develop project schedules and updates.
• Work with Project Management Team & Subcontractors to schedule manpower and equipment.
• Participate in regular progress meetings with project stakeholders
• Ensure quality standards are met.
• Interface daily with crew foremen to ascertain their needs, problems and job progress.
• Lead and manage the on-site construction team.
• Place orders for materials, and responsible for equipment and materials on site.
• Follow the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met.
• Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness.
• Maintain records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs.
• Interface with inspection authorities regarding approvals.
Education/Experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• A minimum of 5 years construction-related supervisory experience
Work Requirements
• Will be subject to drug testing
• Must complete a background screening
• Must be U.S. citizen
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
• Knowledge and familiarity with Low Voltage Fire Alarm work.
• Ability to influence people to work enthusiastically towards goals and performance targets by effectively providing necessary coaching, mentoring, and feedback.
• Knowledge of electrical construction
• Ability to lead and manage change through continuous performance improvement in employee development, quality, safety, and production.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents.
• Familiarity with Procore construction management software preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite of programs preferred

• Standard Driver’s License
• OSHA 30 Hour Outreach Training
• USACE CQM-C Training preferred
