Program Manager
STS Systems Defense, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to support our Aircraft and Commodities Maintenance Support contracts at Hill AFB. The ideal candidate will possess a strong military background with aircraft maintenance and depot experience, a proven track record in program management, and a current Secret or TS clearance. This role requires exceptional organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage budgets, staffing, project timelines, and labor support.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with customers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to understand their operational needs and translate them into actionable program requirements.
- Manage and optimize programs related to aircraft support systems, infrastructure needs and routine maintenance, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and financial accountability.
- Establish and monitor project timelines, identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless program execution and delivery.
- Analyze program performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular program updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in program management, preferably within a military or aviation maintenance/depot environment.
- Active Secret clearance required.
- PMP Certification or Project Management Certification preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in budget development and financial management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Military experience highly preferred.
